Review
“A Busytown for both the directionless and uncertain and those wiling away their days doing nothing. (In other words, there’s a brunch scene.)” (barnesandnoble.com)“Children will enjoy the book for the pictures and the simple sentences, but millennials will enjoy the book for the dry, satirical and spot-on humor.” (Dallas Observer)“What Are We Even Doing With Our Lives? captures the zeitgeist of right now and the past ten years by knowingly sending up Brooklyn-style trust fund-funded self-absorption with the anthropomorphic trappings of Richard Scarry’s Busytown.” (Splitsider)

Hilarious. Not for children, but Richard Scary-esque satire on the life of urban millennials.
birthday present for a fun friend. It’s so good
You'll find yourself recognizing many of your friends, family, and co-workers in this hilarious satire of modern day life. Great jokes and great illustrations throughout.
Hilarious!! So creative, funny and fun to read. The illustrations are great too! I highly recommend getting this book — you won’t be disappointed!
A book I can read to my kids that doesn't put me to sleep.
Living guide for the new New Yorkers, very witty as how we have experienced every day here in the city.
Funny book and a great read. Provides a unique perspective on the current internet generation and the graphics remind you of one of Richard Scary's books. Chuckled and LOL'd my way through the book.
A funny parody of the rosy picture children's books usually paint. You'll find so many people you love to hate living their terrible lives. Older children with a sense of humor would probably like this too. I feel like I would've loved this as a cynical 10 year old. Plus the illustrations are cute and funny too.
