I received this Bible Word Search book, yesterday, so I haven't had a chance to do any of the puzzles, yet, but just looking through it, I knew it's what I've been looking for. Instead of having the list of words on the same page as the puzzle, the words are on the previous page. It's hard to find a search word book like that. I like the page set-up of this one because I don't want to know what the list of words are. Rather, I much more enjoy seeing how many I can find without knowing the answers. All I want to know is the subject (ie.,names of Bible cities, etc. ). Also, I really appreciate that the book is spiral bound which is an enormous help! The pages lie flat which makes it much easier to work with. Thank you, Brain Games!! :)
Gave this book to my mother as a gift. She's 91 years old and enjoys word search puzzles. She was very excited to receive it and works in it everyday. She's very pleased with the puzzles and really likes that the book has a spiral backing she says its easier to work in books like that because the pages lay flat.
My 91 year old mother enjoys the word search. A few pages are in a smaller font which makes it a little difficult for her to see. There are hidden quotes on some of the pages using the leftover letters. My son was helping my mother with the hidden quote. We were excited to see what the quote would be, but was disappointed that it was not a quote from the Bible. Would have been sweet to see Jesus loves you!
Gave as a gift. The Bible theme was well received. Would recommend for kids and adults. Recipient has cataracts and appreciated the large print!
This is a wonderful word search book! Though the print is large the puzzles are not all in squares. Many puzzles are in unique shapes to produce a new challenge. Several have hidden messages that can be found only after all the words have been circled. Bible knowledge is helpful but not necessary when going for a theme or hidden message. Absolutely recommended.
This arrived In very very bad shape. All bent up and looks like it had gotten wet at one point and then it was put in a plastic bag. The pages don’t turn and the reason I ordered it was because of the spiral pages that were supposed to be easy to turn. Also, it was said to be large letters and they are not easy to read for someone who is elderly.
My 66 year-old father always loves doing the weekly word search in the Catholic Herald (a newspaper). I got this for him for a holiday gift. Now he can do one every night and he won't have to wait until when the newspaper comes on Thursdays. He did one the night he opened the gift! The large print is nice and the spiral binding is very convenient. He was happy with the gift.
Our daughter is addicted to Word-Finds. She is Autistic so these help to keep her occupied when the need arrises. They are fantastic & well with the purchase. Will be back in the future.
